Meal Planning

If you have been around awhile you know that I am a big fan of meal planning. Not only does it make our week so much easier but it saves a TON of money. I have recently enlisted my 11 year old to start helping out. She gives me her input on what meals she would like to see on the table (or cook herself). This helps when my mind is blocked and it helps because since she picked it I know she will eat it. When my stockpile was at its peak I was able to put just about anything on the table we wanted when we wanted it. Now that we have moved and I have to rebuild my stockpile. That means eating more meals based on what is on sale. With unpacking, painting, unpacking, swimming in the pool, unpacking, cleaning, unpacking (will it ever be done!) it isn't as easy to find the best deals in town. Especially since the grocery stores are still pretty new to me. I found this website this morning while planning my shopping trips today (Harris Teeter and Shoppers are both doing SUPER DOUBLE COUPONS up to $2 and $1.98!). It plans meals for you based on what is on sale in your area. There is a special offer right now to get it for FREE! If it is FREE you know I am happy to try it. :) Just use the code SUMMERFREE to get it the service FREE for life. Did I mention it was FREE! :) Let me know what you think FoodontheTable.com
